Positive Attitude

Hello Friends,

In my little free time I decided to read some books, and while I was reading, I realized that the books are real gold mines and I wish to share a little gold with you too, it may help you in your carrier, as it did to me.

The first word that pulled my attention was “Attitude”, Yes friends it is within us, that is mainly responsible for our success or failure, when I say success it’s not mean the ultimate thing that we dream of, as we all know success is not a destination it’s a journey, so when I say success I mean whatever you wish to achieve, big or small on daily bases, your attitude matter the most.

A short story I wish to share with you on attitude:

A balloon seller, who sells balloons every day, whenever his sales go down, he raises one balloon of any color up high in the air, looking at that balloon the children, far and near, get attracted towards the high flying balloon and as a result they come and buy them, and this is how the sales would go up. One fine day one small boy came up to him and polled his shirt to catch his attention, and asked, uncle, I have a question? Yes my child he replied, uncle I see you leave all different color balloons every day however I noticed that you never release the black color balloon, is it because the black color balloon cannot fly very high? To this the balloon seller explains, son it must be a coincidence that I never released the black balloon however it’s not the color, it’s what is inside the balloon that makes the it rise high. The helium gas inside it makes the difference. In the same way if the same gas is filled in the black one, it will make the black on go high too.

Yes, friends it is so true to us too, it’s not our looks, color or anything else that will make us raise high in our journey towards success, like the helium in the balloon it is our attitude in us that will help us to attain success.

It has been observed, that almost all or at least 80% of the training programs do their best, however if trainee does not receives with a positive attitude, the whole training goes for a waste. Hence the attitude of a person will determine the success of the training program and make it more meaning full and worthwhile.

At the end, all good training program focuses upon using the magic words please, sorry and thank you along with a smile, however a fake smile or a plastic smile can be seen clear with no attitude, well it’s also said, a plastic smile sometimes gets irritating.

We should always be grounded, no matter how high we go, as we all know the tallest skyscrapers have their foundation 60% below the ground. And the strongest banyan tree always bends towards the ground and has all its roots strong in the ground, at the same time the tallest oak tree standing alone can be broken easily.
